Spanning productions created between 1999 and 2005, the project reflects a seven-year period captured through warm analogue textures, stripped-back grooves and the raw energy of the London underground. Named after the Japanese phrase meaning “a circle of time”, Tokinowa: Seven traces the sound and vision of an artist who helped shape the early 2000s Tech House landscape and influenced generations that followed. Across eight tracks, Jackson moves through deep rhythmic structures, Acid touches and groove-focused club material with a direct and timeless approach. This special collector’s edition is pressed on triple 180 g vinyl in a gatefold sleeve and includes inserts featuring original photography by Gideon Jackson alongside artwork by Sushitech’s in-house designer Jeremy.
