Peel and Stick: Remove the adhesive backing from the bottom of this disk and press it firmly onto your wood grain surface. Wait: It’s best to let the adhesive "cure" for about 24 hours before adding weight. Mount your device: Stick your suction cup mount directly onto the smooth top of this disk. Why it exists: Creates a Smooth Seal: It provides a non-porous, glass-like surface for the suction cup to grab onto. Protects Surfaces: It prevents the suction cup’s silicone or gel from potentially staining or damaging sensitive materials like natural wood or soft-touch dashboards. A quick tip: If you ever want to remove it from that wood surface, use a hairdryer to gently warm the adhesive first.
