New Chilterns Summer Special 16.5 mile hike - Saturday 15th August

A wonderful new circular hike in the stunning Chiltern Hills area for the Summer. We meet for a 9.30am start in Wendover, Buckinghamshire (HP22 6DU) and this is a beautiful 16.5 mile route (approx. 7hrs in total with breaks) so finishing around 4.30pm. The hike takes in parts of the Grand Union Canal, Wendover Woods, some of the famous Ridgeway Trail, Coombe Hill and the magnificent monument there, which is very close to Chequers and also the famous Whiteleaf Cross by Princes Risborough. A truly great hike in the British Countryside not to be missed and fully guided throughout. (Rating 3).
