Common Body, a sculpture studio based in Los Angeles, is the creation of artist Nathaniel Kyung Smith. Working with materials such as ceramic, stone, plaster and beeswax, Common Body is a tactile exploration of symbolism, human connection, and shared experience—and finding balance with today's world. "Making is a commitment to actuating the magic in one’s spirit," says Smith. Hermes is a handcrafted decorative sculpture for the home inspired by the human form, made of locally sourced stoneware.
