It comprises two pottery chamber pots, one for salt and the other for pepper, conjoined to a toilet marked Mustard, "A present from Blackpool," complete with hinged wooden lid! It is accompanied by a white china spoon. In very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. A must have for all lovers of novelty souvenirs and cruet sets! Approximate Maximum Dimensions Height (including spoon): 7.3cm Base Depth: 6cm Base Width: 11.8cm This type of tourist ware was first available in the late 19th Century. I am not sure who made this, as it is unmarked by the manufacturer, but is marked Foreign and was probably made in Germany. It probably dates to the 1930s judging from the style of the toilet and fixings used for the lid. The design was reproduced many times but this is an early version.
