Floria Blue Embroidered Silk Clutch Bag

This stunning pure silk clutch bag, designed exclusively for Glyndebourne, has been embroidered and assembled by hand. The design was inspired by Tosca and reflects the design styles of the period in which the work was written. Tosca, by Puccini, premiered in 1900 featuring Floria Tosca reflects the Italian Art Nouveau design period known as the 'Libertine' style or the 'Floreal' style. The outer fabric is pure silk Dupion. This fabric has a natural slub forming an irregular texture on the surface of the fabric adding to its unique characteristic. The clutch bag includes a zip closure at the top and a wrist strap for ease of holding. Top width: 22cm Bottom width: 30cm Height 22cm Handmade in England. Dry clean only.
