ABOUT THE TRAINING Join Starr Hawkins and Paola Villegas for a three-day immersive Pre & Postnatal education! This training is designed for Pilates instructors, yoga teachers, doulas, fitness pros, mothers, and anyone who wants to deeply understand pregnancy, postpartum, and the changing female body. This isn’t a fitness course — it’s a full mind-body education. You’ll learn the emotional, physical, and spiritual shifts of motherhood while gaining real tools to support pregnant and postpartum women safely and confidently. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Safe Prenatal + Postpartum Movement: Real modifications, trimester-specific adjustments, breathing techniques, pelvic floor education, and core safety. Dos & Don’ts Breakdown: What’s helpful, what’s harmful, and what truly matters during prenatal and postpartum training. Emotional + Spiritual Shifts: How to support women through transformation, uncertainty, and identity changes. Mom Strong Techniques: Confidence building, strength-based motherhood support, and movement coaching for real life. Doula-Informed Support: Positions for breech babies, mindful movement, breath work for contractions, and early postpartum care. This training blends Pilates, yoga, doula work, anatomy, and lived experience, all rooted in compassion and evidence-based education. The training sessions will be in person at Mimi Yoga & Pilates Coconut Grove, with each session streamed live via Zoom. If students are unable to attend live or in-person sessions due to illness, travel, work commitments, or other reasons, we will provide recordings of all classes to ensure you get all the content, which must be watched during the training to successfully complete the course on the last day of the training.
