Prerequisites for efficient support To ensure we can assist you promptly within the booked time slot, we require the following information: 1. Charging station connection Is the network connection via Ethernet or Wi-Fi? For Wi-Fi: – Network SSID – Is the Wi-Fi password correctly entered in the charging station? For Ethernet: – Is the LED on the relevant router/switch port lit and indicating activity? 2. Network / Internet Access Which device acts as a gateway and what is its IP address? Are static IP addresses used or a DHCP server? For DHCP: – IP address of the DHCP server – Has the charging station been assigned an IP address? If so, which one? For static IP: – IP address of the charging station – Are the gateway and DNS server configured correctly? Are there any managed routers or managed switches that could be restricting access? Are VLANs being used? 3. Network and internet tests (from a laptop on the same network) Can the charging station be reached via ping? Can the gateway be reached via ping? Can the DNS server be reached via ping? Can a website be accessed in the browser (e.g., wtfismyip.com or duck.ai)? Important Note Without this information, we may not be able to provide support successfully. If relevant details are missing, we cannot guarantee that the issue will be resolved within the booked time. Additional effort will be charged accordingly.
