Star-M6 Covert R65 Directional LED Please Note: This product is in development and not yet ECE R65 approved. The Star-M6 is a dual-colour, ultra-slim, and highly covert directional LED lighthead, designed specifically for internal window mounting. It comes as standard as a 90º unit, offering a discreet fit to most small and medium vehicle windscreens. Uniquely, with additional rubberised visors, the construction allows it to flex with varying windscreen curvatures—something rigid alternatives fail to match. Mindful of its typical positioning near the driver and front passenger, the Star-M6 is designed to be fully health & safety compliant with no sharp edges or hardened materials. Each kit includes a powerful adhesive pad, a vinyl tint strip for additional concealment, and primer. When installed correctly with the tint, the unit is almost invisible and achieves ECE R65 Class I approval (blue). The Star-M6 is ideal for unmarked and covert police vehicles but is also well-suited to a wide range of low-power, space sensitive applications. Its dual colours can be independently controlled or set to alternate flash. The USB-C cable can be swapped from side to side, and multiple units can be linked for faster installation. For even greater efficiency, an optional daisy chain cable allows multiple units to share power, reducing wiring to a single multi-core connection. Optional visors at 25º, 45º, and 60º are available as spare parts to suit a wide variety of vehicle types. An adjustable multiangle visor is also available (30º–82º), though it requires more glass space and may not suit all covert use cases. Installation is flexible with options for adhesive mounting or mechanical fitment using an optional U-bracket - particularly useful for vehicles with frequent glass changes.
