Inspired by luminous California skies and the atmospheric gradients of Japanese woodblock prints...a sky at once familiar and quietly longed for. 18k yellow gold with a brushed satin finish. Craft & Technique: Each piece is hand-enameled using the champlevé technique — a traditional kiln-fired process in which glass enamel powder is carefully layered onto gold and fired multiple times, gradually building depth to achieve nuanced gradients and rich color. The surface is then filed and polished smooth. Slight variations in the enamel mean every piece is truly one of a kind.
