Butterfly Milkweed – PLUG

Drought-tolerant native perennial, typically 1-2.5 ft tall, with bright orange summer flowers and narrow green leaves. Larval host for monarch butterflies and a nectar source for bees, wasps, butterflies, and other insects. Best for sunny, dry, well-drained soils; deep taproot makes established plants drought tolerant but difficult to transplant.
