Krown .tri
C3yoyodesign - Krown .tri Another flagship Krown, defined by its presence and exhilaration. It's one of the top-tier models in the Krown series, and the first tri-material Krown ever released. Tri-material construction combines three different materials in a single yoyo, achieving feelings and specs that were difficult to reach with monometal (single metal) or bimetal (two metals) builds. This approach has seen a wide range of variations especially since around 2020. The Krown.tri features an A6061 body, with a stainless steel rim on the outer perimeter and a polycarbonate ring on the inner section. Its size is also completely different from previous Krowns, with full-size specs and a massive 53mm width. The diameter is nearly identical to a standard Krown, but the width (the widest in the series' history) makes it feel considerably larger both in the hand and mid-trick, giving it a real sense of presence. Despite being defined by this "large size," it still carries the lightweight feel characteristic of the Krown series, and the secret to that lies in its tri-material construction. Increasing the diameter and width with metal alone would naturally add total weight and sacrifice that lightness. But by placing lightweight polycarbonate between the two metals, this model succeeds in keeping total weight down while still drawing out the benefits of the dense stainless steel rim. On top of that, the larger diameter compared to the Krown.wst, combined with the stainless steel rim, dramatically extends sleep time, arguably the longest in the series. The result is a feeling especially suited to aggressive tricks and freestyle, delivering exhilaration as you pick up speed. The compact, nimble Krown.wst versus the large, commanding Krown.tri, two entirely different flagships. Enjoy switching between them to suit your style.
