Fred Pro works with the MyTag app and uses both the Apple and Android networks of nearby phones at the same time. That dual-network approach means more phones can pick up your dog's location, so updates are more accurate and more frequent than a single-network tracker. Every location is saved for three days, so you can retrace exactly where they've been. Bluetooth range is around 10 to 15 metres and is reduced by walls, metal and other obstructions. When you're in range, tap the sound icon to make the tag beep. If the battery is low, the speaker may stop working while location tracking carries on. Like any network tracker, it relies on other phones passing nearby, so it works best where there are people around.
