Projects on the Wheel with Rob Fornell

Becoming a strong wheel thrower involves lots of practice (like most things in life!). The fundamentals of shaping and trimming will be covered in this class, as well as more advanced techniques of altering and decorating and a variety of handbuilding techniques. If you are a beginner, you’ll spend much of this class learning to throw a variety of cylinders and bowl shapes. If you’ve taken a few classes, Rob will help you integrate your forms and surfaces and give you tools for more challenging projects.
