This is a unique feature for table looms There is no cord wear, since cords run over rollers and the overhead beater stays out of the way when throwing the shuttle. The Jane is the most compact 8+ shaft table loom on the market that folds easily. This makes weavers even more likely to choose the Louet Jane loom. The Jane 16 will fit on the existing Jane floorstand. 2nd warpbeams for existing Jane looms will also fit the new 16 shaft Jane. The Jane 8 shaft table loom is light, portable and easy to use. The 50 cm (9kg) has a handle for carrying by your side. The 70 being larger (12kg), can be carried but requires a different hold. There is no handle on the side, as it is too wide to carry as "a suitcase".
