In every culture, symbols tell stories. Inspired by the symbolic language of Pacific Island Tapa cloth, Nature's Code explores the quiet stories woven through land, ancestry and memory. Layered with intuitive marks and earthy tones, the work reinterprets traditional motifs into a contemporary visual language, one that honours my Pacific roots while embracing abstraction. Each mark becomes a reminder that nature carries its own code, one of rhythm, connection and belonging.
