Attach the knife to the matching angle on the magnetic pentagon base. For dull knives, begin with the 400-grit diamond disc. Continue sharpening with the 1000-grit disc. Finish with the 2000-grit disc to refine the edge. Use the Helix Honing Disc to align the newly sharpened edge. Clean the blade before use. PRO TIPS Use the 400-grit disc only for very dull knives. For routine maintenance, begin with the 1000 or 2000 grit discs. Maintain your knife's original factory angle for the best performance. The first sharpening may take longer depending on blade condition and hardness; future touch-ups require much less time.
