Kaweco Lunar Sport Fountain Pen Light Blue

Kaweco have been making writing instruments in Heidelberg since 1883, and the Lunar Sport is their newest arrival to the standard range. It does something clever with light. The finish is iridescent, so blue and violet shift across the barrel depending on how you are holding it. Light Blue is the softer of the two, pale and pearly, the colour of forget-me-nots in full bloom.The body is ABS, which keeps it to 11 g and makes it feel almost weightless over a long writing session. It measures 10.5 cm closed and grows to 12.7 cm with the cap posted, so it lives in a pocket and still writes full size. The 060 nib is made in Germany and screws out, so you can swap it for a different size later if you change your mind.It arrives with a blue ink cartridge fitted, ready to write, and takes standard international short cartridges or the Kaweco mini converter for bottled ink.
