Wilda-M 50/500mg Tablet contains a combination of Vildagliptin 50mg + Metformin 500mg, used to help control blood glucose levels in adults with Type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is generally prescribed alongside a balanced diet, regular physical activity and appropriate blood-glucose monitoring. Vildagliptin helps improve the body's glucose-dependent insulin response, while Metformin helps reduce glucose production by the liver and improves the body's sensitivity to insulin. Uses of Wilda-M 50/500mg Wilda-M may be prescribed for: Type 2 diabetes mellitus Improving blood sugar control when diet and exercise are insufficient Patients who require combination therapy with Vildagliptin and Metformin Long-term management of blood glucose under medical supervision Wilda-M is not indicated for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
