Lithodora diffusa 'White Star'

Lithodora diffusa 'White Star' is a showy evergreen shrub with unique white blooms accented by a distinct blue color at peak blooming. Its foliage offers great texture and its low-growing form makes it an excellent choice for groundcover. It pairs very well with the vibrant blue of Lithodora diffusa 'Grace Ward'. This plant has a relatively dense growth habit and it is also a fantastic choice for rock gardens, containers, and urban growing. White Star works well on slopes for erosion control as well and is easy to grow. It reaches around 9" tall x 2' wide at maturity. Trimming back after blooming can stimulate new and denser growth. Plant in full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Hardy to -5°F when protected from windchill.
