500x Perilla Shiso Green & Red Seeds This herb, also known as shiso in Japanese, is prized for its flavourful, hairy leaves that are used in salads and stir-fries. It has a citrusy fresh flavour, making it an excellent herb to add into your meals. Growing instructions: Sow the Perilla Shiso Green & Red seeds from March to April. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm days. Harvest from May to October.
