CNNP 2014 "Year of the Ram" Ripe Puerh

A superb ripe puerh blend commemorating the year of the Ram / Sheep, produced by CNNP (Zhongcha) in 2014. This shou recipe is one of our favorites from CNNP. It is a luxurious and balanced flavor profile with strong baked-goods sweetness and a good polished-wood presence. The fermentation has been superbly controlled, very clean in aroma and mouthfeel. Over 10 years of maturation has softened its initial woodiness into a thick viscous texture, while adding layers of sweet mushroom complexity. Storage has been extremely clean - the cakes are richly fragrant.
