Made from 100% Chardonnay, it's vertical and straight and the most reductive of the range. Medium-bodied, it has great tension but is not austere, with fantastic electricity and a lot of gastronomic focus. Drink 2025-2045. This vineyard is one of their latest plots, planted in 1971 and located behind the restaurant Le Mesnil. A lack of topsoil contributes to the wine's verticality, and while the producers aim for high maturity, the wine retains a refreshing feel."
