Underneath the radiused edges and recessed handles is a UL Class 350 rated body that holds interior temperatures within the paper-safe threshold through a full hour at 1,700°F, built from 14 gauge galvanized steel around a gypsum blend insulation core. Certification goes well past the standard fire test: the cabinet is impact rated for a 30 foot drop followed by a 30 minute reheat, verified in a 2,000°F pre-heated furnace against explosion hazard, ETL rated for digital media at a half hour and 1,550°F, and IP65 water resistant against sprinkler discharge and fire hose spray.
