Type and Technology Laguna Precision is an over-ear, closed-back headphone built around Auribus' new ULM-35 driver, a 35mm Ultra-Low-Mass cellulose cone dynamic driver designed for low distortion and power efficiency. The enclosure is built on Auribus' new AURI-400 Controlled Response system, using a Dual S-Shape reflex port architecture aimed at giving a sealed design the staging and air normally associated with open-back headphones. The outer shell is precision CNC-machined from aircraft aluminum and anodized for durability. Sound Character Auribus describes the tuning as clean and energetic, with the ULM-35 driver and reflex-port enclosure aimed at low distortion, controlled bass extension (down to a claimed 10Hz), and a linear response out to 20kHz.
