Antique Georgian intaglio fob with initials (MH, HM, HW, WH)

A rare antique Georgian era (1714-1836) intaglio seal fob in a gilt mount. The fob holds a rectangle-shaped carnelian intaglio, carved with monogrammed initials. Depending on which way the intaglio is viewed, the initials can read ‘MH’, ‘HM’, ‘HW’ or ‘WH’. This unique piece is perfect for wear as a pendant or charm. Weight (approximate): 4.3g Measurements (approximate): Height of fob including bale is 25mm; width is 15mm x 12mm. Condition: Good, with wear commensurate with age.
