Becket
🐾 Hi Everyone, my name is Becket! My owner couldn’t keep me, so the wonderful people at MLRR gave me a ride here from southern Illinois, where I used to live. My foster dad lets me sleep in a really comfortable bed with him. He says I take up more of the bed than he does, but that’s because I’m a big guy and need to stretch out! 😴 I sleep through the night like a champ! He also says I’m a smart guy! I have even learned how to open doors with my nose! 🚪👃 I know a lot of other good stuff too, like never going potty inside the house. 🎾 I always bring the ball back when someone throws it. I’m still working on dropping it, but my foster dad usually has two balls ready, so one is flying as soon as I bring the other one back. 🐕 Let me tell you—a dog can get pretty tired after all that running! I’m also just now learning how to walk on a leash. It would be great if you could help me practice walking, but I am a pretty strong guy. I know how to sit and wait patiently for treats and before we go out the door🚪. When my foster dad whistles, I come running because...well...there might be a treat waiting! 🏡 Although I have lived with dogs my whole life, they make me a little nervous when I see them while on my walks with my foster dad. I do best with slow introductions! 🐾 ❤️ If you’re looking for a great big guy who will be your very best friend, I hope you’ll choose me. I can’t wait to meet my forever family! 🐾💕 Age: 2 years Gender: Male Color: Chocolate Weight: 96 pounds Dogs: After a slow introduction Cats: Unknown Children: Yes, but I am a BIG guy, so I might knock over littles Crate: Not needed Energy: Moderate
