Linne Calodo Problem Child Red Blend
Founded in 1998 by Matt and Maureen Trevisan, Linne Calodo has become one of Paso Robles' benchmark producers of Rhône and Zinfandel-based blends. Located in the rugged Willow Creek District on Paso's west side, the estate helped define the region's modern wine movement through a relentless focus on site, farming, and expressive blending. Today, Linne Calodo farms estate vineyards and historic old-vine sites throughout the district, crafting wines that capture the power, freshness, and distinctive character of this remarkable corner of Paso Robles. Problem Child earned an impressive 98-point rating from Jeb Dunnuck and showcases Linne Calodo's mastery of Zinfandel-based blends. Composed of 58% Zinfandel, with Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, and Graciano completing the blend, it delivers a beautifully layered mix of blackberry, black raspberry, blueberry compote, lavender, spice, and savory herbs. Full-bodied yet remarkably balanced, it combines richness, energy, and structure in a way that few California blends can match.
