Ely Aquafest

THE EVENT: Ely’s Aquafest 2026 Located on the beautiful banks of the Great Ouse River, the festival celebrates Ely’s connection to water and brings together hundreds of visitors each year to enjoy the summer sunshine and riverside atmosphere. We will be performing on the main stage in Jubilee Gardens and it’s set to be a fab occasion – come! DATE: Sunday 5th of July 2026 CALL TIME: 3:00pm PERFORMANCE TIMINGS: 3:30pm-4:00pm SONGS: Movin’ On Up, Kings Of Pop Medley, Reach Out I’ll Be There, Never Gonna Not Dance Again, Our House, Runaway & Take On Me If you’re worried about signing up because you haven’t learnt all the songs with me in their entirety – please don’t! I will help you over the next few weeks (come to as many of my sessions as you’d like) and on the day you can go with the flow on the songs you’re less familiar with. It’s all about having fun and giving the audience a good time so don’t stress, sign up, come along for a fun day out and support our local community! Jubilee Gardens can be found next to The Maltings / The River. PLEASE CAR SHARE WHERE POSSIBLE and make sure you allow plenty of time to park and get to our performance space. It’s a VERY popular community day so everyone will have their eyes on the same car parks! UNIFORM: The Collaboration Choir uniform colour palette is: Navy, Teal & White CLOTHING: If you have a Collaboration Choir T-shirt please wear it with dark navy jeans or dark navy trousers. No leggings please. If you don’t then a white, navy or teal top of any kind is okay. White shirts are also fine! These can be in dark navy denim, plain navy or white. No black bottoms please. FOOTWEAR: Please wear plain navy shoes. Navy, white or silver trainers are also welcomed with matching plain socks. Feel free to wear sparkly trainers. Think comfortable chic! JEWELLERY & EXTRAS: Silver jewellery preferred — sparkle if you like! It’s an outdoor event without any holding / backstage area so please only bring what you can carry on your person (bum bag / across the body bag recommended). NOTES FOR THE HOT WEATHER: You are welcome to amend your bottom half to dark denim, navy or white shorts / pedal pushers and open toe shoes are permitted but please make sure they’re not flip flops. These are not safe to perform in. Ideally you need sandals that can stay strapped to your feet. If you want to wear a hat or cap that is also fine but please make sure it is Navy or White. Finally, please remember to apply sun cream and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
