FootPro Buffing/Sharpening Wheels

Sisal Wheel is layered cotton and sisal fibers used for blending surfaces prior to final sharpening and removing file marks. Use GRAY compound. The Sisal wheel has a 1/2" arbor and fits our 1/4 h.p. Baldor buffer. Cotton Wheel is layered cotton sheets spiral sewn together for final polishing of knife edges and tools. Typically used with WHITE or GREEN compound. The Cotton wheel has a 1/2" arbor and fits our 1/4 h.p. Baldor buffer. Grooved Felt Wheel is made of medium density felt used for final polishing of knife edges and tools. Supplied with a groove for sharpening the hook of a knife. For best results use after the knife has been sharpened on the sharpening wheel. Typically used with WHITE or GREEN compound. Buffing/Sharpening Wheel is embedded with aluminum oxide crystal for blending surfaces prior to final sharpening and removing file marks. No need for compound. A groove can be cut into the buffing and sharpening wheel with a rasp tang in order to sharpen the hook of the knife.
