Simple Tasting Platter Lunch (No Tour)

When we have availability in our Tasting Room we can offer a simple, pre-booked, one-course lunch of a top-notch smoked seafood platter. Please note, time slots will be shown fo the next 7 days ahead only With views of the estuary and painted panelled walls, this warm, comfortable space gives you and your companions an opportunity to experience authentic, delicious, Irish food straight from its source. Every tasty morsel is produced in-house* and all our fish is Irish. *Some breads may be purchased from fellow market traders at the English Market. The space and the table may be shared with other people enjoying their own platters, or you may simply have your own company if the smoke house is quiet... it's just important to understand this is a smoke house rather than a restaurant and service is low-key once we know you are comfortable and have everything you need. Anyone who has booked a Tasting Platter can enjoy 10% discount on further Tasting Room purchases on the day they are visiting. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY FOOD ALLERGIES WHEN YOU ARE MAKING YOUR BOOKING. We will do our best to accommodate you, but please bear in mind that this we mostly smoke fish and seafood, so it is best that you enjoy this kind of food. Price includes complimentary soft drink (not including tea or coffee). You are also welcome to bring your own wine. Corkage charge €10/bottle of wine. Essential Information Monday to Fridays, depending on availability, until end of August 2026 Wednesday to Fridays from 1st September until end of October 2026 TERMS & CONDITIONS Season 2026 Our season runs from mid March to end of October. We sometimes release out of season bookings, depending on production and availability, but we will not know until nearer the date. Please check back in case. Children Please mind your children when they are on our premises. This is a working smokehouse and yard. Payment All rates include VAT at the current local rate 13.5%. Unscheduled Tours Due to the preparation involved for private tours, we are unable to accommodate impromptu or unscheduled visits. Please contact book online for a private tour with Frank Hederman. Cancellation Policy Platters cancelled under 72 hour notice period will incur a discretionary administrative charge of 15%. Platters cancelled within 24 hours will incur a cancallation charge of 50%, or you can postpone your booking until another time. Hederman Smoke House reserves the right, under unavoidable circumstances, to cancel group bookings at any time, in which case you will be fully refunded. Running Late If you are running late, please advise us by email shipping@frankhederman.com, and by phone 00353 (0) 21 4811089. We will do our best to accommodate you. Parking The smoke house is located on a relatively small site and has limited space for parking and turning. The maximum size of vehicle that we can accommodate is a 16-seater Sprinter or equivalent. Belvelly Smoke House is not responsible for theft from or damage to your car while on our premises.
