It has a square pedestal base that is decorated with a pretty floral border. It has a lovely, delicate Magen Dovid – Star of David on the top. Hallmarked: Made by A Taite & Sons Ltd in Greatorex Street, London E1 & Whitechapel Road, London E1 in 1948. N.B. This company appears to be a successor to A Taitelbaum & Co. It ceased trading c1972.
