Del Sen Jaume Gran

I have said this before, but I think DSJG reminds me of a larger, green equivalent of an I-258 or Black Madeira. It is an extra large fig that often splits ( I think due to its size and shape) however seldom spoils. I am not sure why, but it is a pleasant surprise. A massive green fig with strawberry flesh. It is on the late side, but in a pot it is outstanding and does ripen most of its crop before frost.
