SEPP World Cup Winner Tricot

SEPP has a colorful past of asking fashion designers to make their version of a football jersey. Most famously, the Atelier Versace Haute Couture jersey for the World Cup 2014 issue. After 24 years of making SEPP, we thought it was time to make our own. So, for our first entry into the fan merchandise category, we got together with some friends at Versace to conjure up the SEPP World Cup Winner Tricot made from the colors of all past World Cup winning countries. It represents all the colors of the World Cup winning nations since 1930 – Uruguay, light blue – to the last winner in 22 – Argentina, again light blue. But if you detect some Brazilian green or French blue, you’re on the right track. Ok, one could argue about the blue, it’s Italian as well, but they didn’t even qualify. But then, the stripes remind us of Dario Vitale’s winning only Versace collection. Molto Italiano.
