Norwalk Rabbeted French Door Mortise Latch Set

What a fine, small cast iron rabbeted French door passage set made by Norwalk. It has an octagonal glass knob on one side and a bronze plated iron thumb turn on the other. A beautiful set, in beautiful condition! Condition: Great antique condition! Turns nicely, works like a dream. Some surface wear and patina, commensurate with age, and a little bit of paint on the mortise and the strike. The strike and the rosette for the glass knob are not original, but are well-suited to the set. Mortise is stamped with the Norwalk logo, strike is stamped "R8948," and the rosette on the glass knob is stamped "F37." Set includes mortise latch, strike, two rosettes, one glass knob, one thumb turn, and the spindle.
