An open night of Alif Altar Items. A series of products designed by Nabeel Khan for lighting & ceremonial use. In a time where more and more of life is becoming digital, feeling further and further from reality - Alif offers items of wood, brass, copper & leather - tangible objects that will grow old with you. These altar items shows us how to produce lighting harking back to the pre-petrochemical age, burning oil instead of hydrocarbons or even wax, in a series of beautiful, handcrafted items that as well as being on show, will be available to purchase on the night.
