This is a Paint Juicy night. Big energy, bigger music, and a room laughing at its own canvases by the second hour. Live vocals run the whole way through, so the singalong has a real voice out front rather than a playlist and a hopeful nudge. Your host guides every brushstroke on the mic, so nobody gets stranded at step four. Natural breaks between layers give everyone time to grab a drink, take photos and get their breath back before the next big chorus lands. The playlist runs the pub rock and big pop of the 80s early, then slides into the 90s once the room has loosened up and the paint is flowing. Friend groups, mums and daughters, work crews who would rather do anything than stand around a function room, they all end up singing the same chorus by the end. Tonight's Artwork Sea Turtle A big-eyed sea turtle drifts across layered turquoise and deep blue water, and the shell is the showstopper. It is a stained glass mosaic of rose pink, lime green, coral and orange radiating out from a pale gold centre, every panel outlined in deep navy. The body is sandy cream flecked with dark brown, and a few bubbles drift off into the corners. It looks like hours of fiddly detail. It is not. Each panel goes on as one simple shape and the colour gets blended inside it, which is why first timers walk out holding the most impressive thing they have ever painted. Live singing, not a speaker in the corner. Is singing along optional? Technically yes. Realistically you will not resist. Expect call and response moments and choruses you forgot you knew every word to. What time does it finish? Painting starts at 6pm and runs three hours, so brushes are down around 9pm. Do I need painting experience? None at all. We guide every step from blank canvas to finished painting, and the turtle shell that looks complicated goes on one simple layer at a time. Can I do both Mackay nights? Yes, and a few people will. Friday is the 80s and 90s with the sea turtle, Saturday is the 70s and 80s with the cactus desert. Different era, different canvas, book them separately. Is this good for a hens or birthday group? Absolutely. Hens nights and birthdays are the two most common private bookings we run.
