After the fabulous chaos of last year's Craft & Cackle Party, we're opening the pumpkin patch once again for two evenings of autumn crafting, ridiculous games, good food, laughter and just the right amount of weirdness. This is Halloween for the grown-ups. No standing awkwardly in a nightclub dressed as a sexy cat. We're making mushrooms. 😂🍄 🍄 CREATE YOUR OWN GUARDIAN MUSHROOM This year's main craft is wonderfully weird... You'll create your very own Guardian Mushroom. 🍄 Using clay and a selection of decorating materials, you'll sculpt a strange little mushroom being completely unique to you. Maybe even some friends or a log for him to sit on! Will yours be a forest guardian? A protector of the home? A tiny woodland deity? An ancient mushroom elder? Or an absolute goblin who looks like he's been banned from three different forests? Entirely up to you. 😂 Give it a face, symbols, textures, personality and meaning. Make it beautiful. Make it creepy. Make it ridiculous. There is no artistic ability required, in fact, the wonkier they are, the more personality they seem to acquire. Your finished Guardian Mushroom is yours to take home and protect your house, altar, bookshelf... or biscuit cupboard. 🎃 THE GREAT PUMPKIN CARVING Of course we're bringing back the pumpkins! Choose your victim, scoop out its innards and prepare for our timed Pumpkin Carving Challenge. Beautiful masterpiece? Terrifying monster? Traditional Jack-o'-lantern? A face that looks like it's just remembered it left the oven on? Anything goes. 😂 And if it goes catastrophically wrong, remember... His name is Wilson now. WILSONNNNNNN! 🏐🎃 🫎 BOO BINGO! THERE WILL BE PRIZES. 👀 🎲 GAMES, MUSIC & MISCHIEF Throughout the evening there'll be more games, challenges and opportunities to win goodies, alongside funky music and plenty of time to simply sit, chat and enjoy yourself. This isn't a workshop where you're expected to sit silently concentrating for three hours. AUTUMN FOOD & DRINKS Because nobody should be expected to carve pumpkins and birth mushroom guardians on an empty stomach. We'll stop to eat, drink and refuel with warming autumn food and something sweet afterwards. There'll also be seasonal drinks to enjoy throughout the evening, with non-alcoholic options available too, if you're driving! 🍝 Monster Meatballs & Spaghetti – hearty meatballs in a rich tomato sauce with spaghetti, served with plenty of garlic bread. Because vampires aren't invited anyway. 🧛🧄 Please let me know in advance if you require vegetarian or vegan. :) 🍒 Boozy Black Forest Cake – rich chocolate, cherries, cream and a cheeky splash of booze. Dark, decadent and bloody delicious. 🩸🍫 🍏 Poison Apple Fizz on Arrival – your first potion of the evening! A sparkling apple concoction to sip while everyone settles into the Pumpkin Patch. 🍎 Hot Spiced Apple Cider – warm, fragrant and full of autumn spices to keep you cosy as the evening gets darker. ☕ Tea & Coffee – available for those who require caffeine to successfully operate crafting equipment. 😂 👻 TWO NIGHTS TO CHOOSE FROM We're running the same Pumpkin Patch Party on TWO dates this year: 🎃 Friday 16th October 2026 OR 🎃 Friday 30th October 2026 Choose whichever evening works best for you.
