When a quiet neighbor named Edie asks about the box Donna is holding a little too tightly, the truth comes out: a painted rock from the year her husband was in the hospital, a hospital bracelet from the day he came home, a card with a verse that held her together when the job didn't. Edie shares the story of Samuel raising a stone and naming it Ebenezer, and Donna begins to see that the things she wanted to throw away were never reminders of the battle. They were reminders of the help. The skit closes with a label maker, a wet laugh, and a box set upright on the table like a monument.
