A motorised ZIP screen designed for the 4-metre side of a compatible BS25 bioclimatic pergola. It provides additional shade, privacy and protection from low-angle sunlight. The polyester fabric has 5% light transmission, reducing glare while maintaining an outward view. Operation is controlled by the supplied remote control. More shade and privacy beneath your pergola The exterior motorised ZIP Screen BS25 helps create a more comfortable outdoor dining, lounging or entertaining area. It reduces direct sunlight and glare while providing additional privacy around the pergola. The dark-grey polyester fabric has 5% light transmission. It restricts views into the covered area while allowing occupants to see outside. The actual degree of privacy depends on the lighting conditions on either side of the screen. Motorised operation The screen is raised and lowered by an electric motor operated with the supplied remote control. The fabric runs inside lateral ZIP guides that support smooth movement and help maintain an evenly tensioned surface. Compatible wind, rain and light sensors may be purchased separately. Automatic behaviour depends on the selected sensor, system configuration and settings.
