A very good looking glazed English oak Art Deco bookcase/cabinet with a useful lower two door cupboard - sitting in lovely condition. Of good scale, with its highly attractive top section showing off deco patterned sunburst lead glazed oak framed windows with 3 adjustable oak shelves inside for books or the like. The piece possesses gently shaped edges with a decorative lower plinth and a set of well shaped feet. Condition is very good with a pleasing tone and grain to the English oak, we have a working lock and key to the glazed section and we have ensured the piece is ready for placing having enjoyed a careful repolish and wax in our workshops which helps to highlight the oak grain and its overall design.
