Evening Dress in Silky Velvet Long Skirted Tailored Dress with Three Quarter Length Sleeves The Downing Dress is elegant and easy to wear. While it stands on its own beautifully, it is cleverly designed to sit perfectly under our Downing coats. It is designed to fall to mid-low calf length, just shy of the coat length, and has a waisted, skirted shape. It is fully lined in silk. The sleeves reach a few inches below the elbow and have a slitted fold back cuff detail. Darted pleats to front and rear created a superbly flattering shape that is at once elegant and easy to wear. The Fabric This is a "silky velvet', being a silk-viscose mix. Soft, elegant and light to wear, it has a special shimmer and reflects the light wonderfully. Although this textile is not made in Britain, we have added this to our mix to expand our evening wear offering. Composition Outer: 82 Viscose%, 18% Silk Lining: 100% Silk Body Shape Hugely wearable, the Downing Dress is flattering on shapes. Lining Lined in pure silk.
