Tectyl 7191

Tectyl® 7191 Clear is a water-based rust-proofing compound designed for protecting automotive body sections. It forms a flexible, self-healing clear film that repels water and prevents chipping or cracking.

• The description claims corrosion resistance of 240 hours in 5% salt fog at 40°C, 1000 hours in humidity cabinet at 40°C and 100% RH, and one week in salt water immersion at 40°C.
