The Sonifex AVN-CU4 Dante Commentary Unit for 4 Commentators is a configurable professional Dante® AoIP commentary interface designed for broadcast, live events, and production environments. Built around flexible audio-over-IP routing and mixing, it supports up to 16 input and output Dante channels with simultaneous streams and extensive control over audio pathways using programmable buttons and rotary encoders. The unit’s rugged design and intuitive interface make it ideal for busy commentary positions where reliability and versatility are essential. Featuring four high-quality locking mic/line inputs with adjustable gain and phantom power indication, plus four stereo headphone outputs on locking jack sockets, the AVN-CU4 accommodates up to four commentators with independent monitoring. Dual redundant network ports with PoE support, AC mains power input, and optional 12 V DC backup ensure continuous operation in demanding workflows.
