Watercolor Summer camp July 27-31

Watercolor Wonders Summer Art Camp Explore color, texture, and imagination in watercolor for ages 7–14 July 27-31 Instructor: Samuel Doors open at 8:30am, activities start at 9am Young artists will dive into the magical world of watercolor in this playful, technique-rich camp. Throughout the week, campers will experiment with color mixing, brushwork, and different watercolor styles while creating sunsets, botanicals, landscapes, abstract pieces, and imaginative scenes. What to expect Mornings: Focused art time learning watercolor basics—color theory, washes, layering, and texture—then applying these skills to themed projects like flowers and leaves, landscapes and skies, and expressive abstract or fantasy-inspired paintings. Instruction is led by art educators and supported by studio staff. Afternoons: A mix of open and structured art activities with a variety of watercolor-related and mixed-media projects, facilitated by studio staff, giving kids space to practice new techniques, play with ideas, and develop their own style. Throughout the week: Emphasis on creativity, confidence, and fun, with engaging prompts and gentle guidance to help each artist make unique, personal work.
