6.9 Tonne Fan Hanger- Single

This fan hanging system was designed and engineered by Quattro Project Engineering (QPE) and fabricated by Murray Engineering. QPE developed and implemented a mechanised solution for the installation and removal of underground mine ventilation fans - a task that has traditionally required working at heights and exposed personnel to awkward workspaces due to the geometry of the fan. This system eliminates the need for working at heights during fan installation, while any additional ducting work can be completed safely from a standard work basket. The result is a more efficient process requiring fewer personnel than traditional methods, significantly reducing employee exposure to risk while improving overall safety and productivity.
