Zebra | The Lip Gloss: Iced Latte
My Review This is currently my favorite lip gloss and I don’t go anywhere without it. I like the consistency of this one more than the clear version... it has just enough color to make a difference without being too much. It wears really well and I don’t find myself constantly reapplying, which I appreciate. I notice I’m always reaching for this one, and I’ve been using it daily for about two months and still haven’t had to repurchase. It gives a smooth application while also helping keep lips hydrated and supported instead of just sitting on the surface. There are also a few supportive ingredients included for stability and preservation, which I always look into. I’ve added a few of those below in case any of them aren’t familiar. I am okay with safe synthetics... if you want my full breakdown on that, you can read more HERE. ➡️ Bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2 is not considered acutely toxic, not genotoxic, and not a dermal irritant or sensitizer. The Cosmetic Ingredient Review (CIR) Expert Panel has reviewed it, though some long-term data gaps remain. ➡️ Glyceryl Caprylate has a strong safety profile in cosmetics. It’s well-tolerated, even for sensitive skin, and is known for being mild and non-irritating. ➡️ Caprylhydroxamic Acid is considered safe in cosmetic formulations and has not been shown to be irritating or sensitizing. It’s also not expected to cause eye irritation based on available data. ➡️ Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate is generally well-tolerated and derived from plant sources. It’s often used for its soothing properties, though extra caution is typically recommended during pregnancy due to limited research. About Zebra ⭐️ Fully transparent with ingredients, which is a big thing for me... their whole concept is that ingredients should be “black and white,” meaning nothing hidden or vague ⭐️ Created by a mom who started questioning ingredients after her child’s health challenges, which led her to dig deeper into how misleading many products can be ⭐️ Focused on avoiding labeling tricks or vague ingredient terms, which is honestly rare in this space ⭐️ Smaller, values-driven brand focused on offering cleaner options without compromising performance Made in the USA 🇺🇸 Zebra products are made in the USA, with the exception of dental floss and toothbrushes, which are produced in Italy
