278-1 Maple 14 x 11.75 x 2 One-Off

This beautiful little board is what we consider a "one-off". We occasionally have to trim a board down for one reason or another. That was the case with this beauty. Feet WILL be installed on this board unless you ask us not to. You can also order finger grooves, a juice groove and/or engraving at checkout. Most maple has mineral marks within the wood. It is how the tree goes with its unique indiosyncracies. Since Maple is a lighter wood, those mineral streaks are very visible. These marks can't totally be avoided. In this case, the board is very "clean", meaning few mineral marks are visible. It does have a slightly darker grain color to it. Maple cutting boards need a lot of oil, so please don't forget to add a care kit! All cutting boards need to be oiled to full saturation, but especially maple!
