Tigerling Daylily

Tigerling Daylily ‘Tigerling’ daylily is proof that good things come in small packages. Small, 3 1/2" bright blooms sit atop scapes that reach just over 2' tall for us and can’t help but add a dash of color and a touch of whimsy to your garden. A light fragrance and nice rebloom are added benefits of planting this beauty in your garden. Lovely! Tigerling is a midseason bloomer. We typically see its charming blooms around the middle of June in our East Tennessee garden. If you live to our north, you'll see it a few weeks after we do. If you live to our south, you'll get to see these bright orange blooms a bit before us. Nice rebloom means they'll make an appearance off and on throughout the season. Tiger Time is a dormant daylily. This means it is best grown in gardens that receive a sustained winter cold period, like those in zones 8 and lower. Looks great on its own, but Tigerling's bright red eyezone really pops when planted with sizzling red or bright yellow daylilies.
