Daniel-Etienne Defaix Chablis 1er Cru “Côte de Léchet” 2013 is a mature Premier Cru Chablis from one of the region's most traditional producers. Defaix is known for releasing wines later than most Chablis estates, often after extended aging on lees, which gives the wines added complexity while preserving freshness. The wine is drinking very well now. Most merchants and collectors place it in a peak window from roughly 2026–2032, though well-stored bottles could continue developing beyond that.
